TreeX
A Christmas tree your chat decorates, one cheer at a time.
What is TreeX?
TreeX puts a Christmas tree on your stream and hands your chat the ornaments. Every cheer hangs one with the viewer's name on it, and the tree keeps them all season, growing new boughs as it fills.
Each stream adds a little more: a goal that lights the star, tonight's top cheerer on the topper, a present under the tree for them, and an advent door to open every day in December. Chat can shake the tree, gift an ornament to a friend, and find their name with !tree.
On Christmas morning you open the presents live, everyone who took part gets a thank you, and the whole season becomes an album your community can keep.
How it works
- 1
Add one link to OBS
Sign in with your StrmrX account, copy your overlay link and add it as a browser source. Your camera sits in its own window in the scene.
- 2
Chat cheers, the tree fills
Every cheer hangs an ornament with the viewer's name. Bigger cheers hang bigger, fancier designs, and you pick which ones go with which amount.
- 3
Open a door a day
The advent calendar has 24 doors. Open today's from your dashboard, with !advent in chat, or when your goal is hit, and the prize plays out on stream.
- 4
Christmas morning
Open the pile of presents live. Everyone who helped gets a thank you, and your season turns into an album with every stream and every name.
What you get
Their name on your tree
Every cheer hangs an ornament with the viewer's name, and it stays up all season. Nobody's ornament is ever thrown away.
A tree that grows
When the tree fills up it grows new boughs and rehangs everything, so a busy chat gets a bigger tree, not a full one.
24 advent doors
A door a day all December, with light shows, new ornament styles and quick chat games behind them.
Presents with name tags
Tonight's top cheerer gets a wrapped present under the tree, and ornaments shaken loose land in the pile with their names on.
Chat plays along
Viewers shake the tree, gift ornaments to friends with "Cheer100 for @name", and type !tree to find their own.
One overlay, your whole scene
Tree, calendar, camera window, "just hung" list, presents and goal bar in one 1920 by 1080 link. Switch any piece off.
Christmas morning show
Open the presents live on Christmas and thank everyone who took part, each with a title for what they did.
An album to keep
Every stream is saved with its numbers and a picture of the tree, and the season becomes a shareable Christmas album.
