Terms of Service

The deal

StrmrX is a family of apps for streamers, run by two people. By creating an account or using any StrmrX app, you're agreeing to what's on this page. If you don't agree with something here, don't use the service — and tell us why, because we'd rather fix it.

Your account

• You need to be at least 13, matching Twitch's minimum age.
• Give us an email address that works. It's how we reach you about your account.
• Keep your password and your Twitch connection to yourself. Anything done from your account is treated as done by you.
• One account per person. Don't share it, don't resell it.
• If you think someone else is in your account, email us immediately and we'll kill the sessions.

Using the apps

Use them to make your stream better. Don't use them to:

• harass, threaten, or target anyone;
• break Twitch's rules — their terms still apply to your channel, and ours don't override them;
• scrape, hammer, or reverse-engineer our services, or try to get at data that isn't yours;
• resell or rebrand a StrmrX app as your own.

If you do any of that, we may suspend or delete your account. We'll usually ask what happened first, unless the abuse is obvious or someone is getting hurt.

The apps change

Every app carries a status: Idea, Dev, Beta or Live. Beta apps are usable but rough, and they will break sometimes — that's what beta means. We may add apps, change them, or retire them. If we retire something you rely on, we'll give you notice and tell you what to use instead.

The beta programme

Claiming a beta pass puts you on a waiting list. It costs nothing, it doesn't guarantee a seat, and beta builds come with no promise of uptime, stability or data retention. If you send us feedback, a bug report, or an idea, we may act on it and build it — you keep your rights to it, and we're not obliged to pay you or credit you for a suggestion.

Tiers, credits and billing

• A Tier is free, forever, with no card required.
• Paid tiers, when they open, are billed monthly through Stripe. Nothing charges you until you explicitly buy something. Prices are shown before you pay.
• Credits are a balance you spend inside StrmrX apps. They have no cash value, can't be exchanged for money, and aren't transferable between accounts.
• Cancel whenever you like. Your paid access runs to the end of the period you've already paid for. We don't pro-rate part-months, and we don't hide the cancel button.
• If we ever change what a tier includes or what it costs, we'll tell existing members before it takes effect.

Third-party apps

Some apps in the catalogue are marked as third-party. We link to them because they're good, not because we built them. Their terms and their privacy policy govern your use of them, and we can't fix their bugs.

Your content

Whatever you make with our tools is yours — your overlays, your chat, your stream. We claim no ownership of it. We only process it to the extent an app needs to work, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Ending things

You can delete your account at any time by emailing support@strmrx.com. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that puts our service or other streamers at risk. If we close your account and you'd already paid for a period, we'll refund the unused part unless the closure was for abuse.

The boring but necessary part

StrmrX is provided as is. We work hard to keep it up, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted, bug-free, or fit for any particular purpose, and we can't be liable for lost streams, lost viewers, lost revenue, or lost data. Where liability can't be excluded by law, our total liability to you is limited to whatever you actually paid us in the twelve months before the claim — which, for most people, is nothing.

Nothing here takes away consumer rights you have by law that can't be signed away.

Changes to these terms

We'll update this page and the date at the top when things change. If the change materially affects you and you have an account, we'll email you. Carrying on using StrmrX after a change means you accept it.
