FAQ

Questions, answered

The things streamers ask us most. If your question isn't here, just email us — a real person reads it.

Account

Do I need a Twitch account?

You can sign up with just an email and password, but the apps run on your Twitch channel — so connect Twitch from your dashboard before you launch one.

What does one StrmrX account get me?

One login for every app in the family. Sign in once at strmrx.com and every StrmrX app recognises you — no separate account, no second password.

How do I change my email or password?

From your dashboard. If you signed up with Twitch you can add an email and password there too, so you can get in either way.

Apps

Do I have to install anything?

No. Everything runs in the browser. Overlays drop into OBS as a browser source — copy the link, paste it in, go live.

Why is an app locked for me?

Each app sets the lowest tier that unlocks it. If your tier is below that, the tile stays locked. Free apps stay free.

What do the status chips mean?

Idea is on the drawing board, Dev is being built, Beta is usable but rough, Live is ready for your stream. Only Beta and Live apps can be launched.

Beta

How do I become a beta tester?

Claim a beta pass on the Beta page. Beta accounts open in waves, and we email you the moment there is a seat with your name on it.

Will you spam me?

No. Claiming a pass gets you exactly one email — the one that tells you your wave is open. It's a separate list from the newsletter.

Does the beta cost anything?

Nothing. No card, no charge. You get early builds and a direct line to the two people making them.

Billing

Is StrmrX free?

A Tier is free forever — no card required. It gets you an account, the free apps, and the community.

When do the paid tiers open?

Not yet. Until they do, the S and X buttons read “Coming soon” and nothing can charge you.

What are credits?

A shared balance that paid features spend across every StrmrX app, so you top up once instead of paying each app separately. The wallet is still being wired up.

Still stuck?

We're two people, not a support queue. Tell us what's broken and it goes straight on the board.
